Shift Times*

Grill Master: 5:00-7:00 P.M.

Set Up: 5:00-7:00 P.M.

Ice Cream Hour Host: 6:45–7:45 P.M.

Game Host: at your discretion, when kids are done eating

Clean Up: 7:00-9:00 P.M.

      *If everything is done earlier than 9:00pm, you may lock up and leave earlier.

Access

The Club Managers, Kate & Kathy, and Alicia will be at the club when you arrive to give you access to the clubhouse. They will be available to help host couples to ensure that TNS runs smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Grill Master

• Ensure that the grills are cleaned, prepped and lit
• Three charcoal grills should be lit at 5:00pm. We do not use the gas grill for TNS.
• Place the basket of grilling utensils near the grills. They are located in the clubhouse, ask Kate or Kathy if needed. Be sure they are clean
• Keep the grills hot and running throughout the evening, until 7:30 based on grilling activities
• Assume all 3 grills need to be lit for the evening, Alicia will advise if only 2 are needed based on expected attendance 
• Clean off and cover grills before the end of the night 

Setup Hosts

• Arrive by 4:45
• Thursday tend to be landscaping days and the tables get shifted around the grass area. If this is the case, you are responsible for moving them back. 
• Remove bird poop off the tables. Its not a glamours job but it is an important one! Members and their guests do not want to eat on or sit on a poop covered table. Grab cleaning spray and paper towels from the club house. 
• The chosen table linens will be laid out in the club house. Put them out on the tables along with any decorations for the night 
• Check the bathrooms (not locker rooms) to make sure they have toilet paper, paper towels and soap
• Keep an eye on the trash both inside and outside the Clubhouse. If you see trash on the ground, please pick it up. Empty garbage cans into the dumpster and replace them with new trash bags.

Clean Up Hosts

• Remove table cloths and any decor from the tables. Fold them and place them neatly in the back room
• Ensure bathrooms are tidy and lock the Clubhouse bathrooms at the end of the night (you can get the key from a board member or Alicia)
• Make sure music is turned off at the end of TNS
• Ensure Clubhouse is tidy, turn off lights and lock doors. Main club house door can be locked by pressing the ‘lock’ button
• Lock Club House upon departure (or arrange with Club Manager to lock Clubhouse)
• Turn off string lights outside

• Note: if it is getting close to TNS closing time and members are still enjoying their time, please do the following:
  • Ask to clean and put away their table cloth or let them know that they will be responsible for it.
  • Let them know that you will be cleaning up and locking the Clubhouse shortly and ask them if they need anything prior to doing so.

Ice Cream Hour Hosts

• Hang out at the ice cream freezer at 6:45 to help our smallest ‘Forkers with portion control
• Each child should have 1 ice cream bar, NO EXCEPTIONS
• We will have a hand stamp available to help keep track of who has received an icy treat
• Adults are welcome to have a treat from the freezer

Kids Games Hosts

• Help out on the tennis courts with running kids games and activities
• Materials will be provided by the board, but if you can add to the fun with your own materials, that is appreciated

RAIN

• IN CASE OF RAIN, THE SET UP COUPLES STILL NEED TO COME TO THE CLUB AT THE DESIGNATED TIME.
• Assisting couples should contact Alicia Hein that evening to see if they are needed.
